Zambia • Day Four

Worked all day on the training center. Mike and Elvis assembled the platform and put the water heater framework on the roof. Bob and I painted walls with Pastor Joe. One of the frustrating things you learn to expect is never having the right tools or hardware to work with. The wood for the framework is ruff-cut to no consistent size. We used a hand saw to rip and cross-cut everything. Really makes you appreciate the things we have in the US like dimensional lumber, construction screws and Menards. Even the paint brushes are different.
